Re: K&N FIPK I vs FIPK II
I have the Gen II and have had no problems with stalling, as it's
often been said about Gen I......not sure what the true differences are between I & II, but I think Gen II is the only one currently offered by K & N..... |

Re: K&N FIPK I vs FIPK II
Was just interested....I'm sure it probably doesnt matter. But I'd be interested in WHY they revised it.

I have gen 2, It is my understanding that the differences delt with the fixture that mates the air cleaner to MAF housing.

Re: K&N FIPK I vs FIPK II
Stalling Isuue....
I bought mine in the forst group buy on here from ITLRUN (Joe Charles) and it s one of the first run of kits produced. Been on the car for over 40K miles and never had it stall. I did install the MAF screen. Gen 1 or Gen2 the screen is the key to avoiding the stall.IMO. I also think it is the best looking intake out there for our cars all the others dont look as good to me.
