Anyone else spin on the 3-4 shift? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

So I was on the highway today cruising in 5th, decided I wanted to pass some slower traffic so I hit the clutch and do a quick rev to 3000 rpm to drop into 3rd and wind it out and nailed 4th at about 6200 rpm and spun the tires pretty good

and thought "**** that was pretty cool" lol and it's never done that before my PHP intake spacer install and wondering it really made that much of a difference?

Car is mostly stock besides K&N drop in, PHP intake spacer, weld in flows, exedy mach 400 clutch and 315 35 17 Nitto 555's in the rear with 35psi tire pressure is that normal for a mostly stock car with similar mods?

Years ago, I was riding with a buddy of mine in his azure 04 after leaving the 1/4 mile track and he spun going into 4th doing a quick blast on the highway coming back home. I remember we looked at each other were like "wtf?!". We just laughed and kept going.

I used to be able to with street tires! I have 4.56 gears that's why I was able to do so!

Yep with a power shift it will really spin em. With street tires and 456 gears I spun all through 3rd from a roll when I was in las Vegas
