Installing Axle and Diff. I'm stuck

I'm here trying to get the axles off. I pulled the pinion shaft out. However, the C Clips have been giving me all hell for the past hour and a half. Any tips on getting them off? Every instruction and write up just says oh use a screwdrive/needle nose pliers and they pop off. ....... I'm ready to take the torch to it haha

The calipers and rotors are off too. So I can push them in enough to expose the c clip.

I'll chime in so you aren't alone Mach828. I did a write up on a pilot bearing removal. I could tell no one was ecstatic about the post, but I did it mainly so someone could find it when they are in a bind and do a search, so I think your post could save someone some time later on!

Re: Installing Axle and Diff. I'm stuck

ya, next time someone uses the search they can use those links for write ups i posted. and makes sure to take the small abs sensor off or the axle doesn't go in far enough to pull the c clips. Live and learn i guess!
