I got the car back today and the tranny is shifting great. I like the $1971 invoice that came with it. Thank goodness Greenville Ford fixed it under warranty.

I also had a leak in the AC which they fixed for another $163, under warranty.

My bug question is did my poor driving destry the tranny or was a bum tranny making me drive bad. I missed 3rd a lot before it funally went for good, which could have been the tranny and not me.

How will that even it up??? You can teach me when we go out and dial in this new suspension I'm getting... It will be here Friday and I'm putting everything on, on Tuesday.. Then my buddy is going to weld up the torque boxes...

Well all of my rear suspension parts will be here today.. I am also going tomorrow to have one of my buddys weld up my Torque boxes.. My buddy Jason at Texas Drivetrain Performance is going to install all of my rear suspension parts for me on Tuesday... So I might just go to the track on Wed. or Thurs. to dial in the new shocks and control arms.. My best 60ft last time was a 1.649 with a bad control arm so I think this car should be able to pull some high 1.5's out of it once everything is dialed in correctly..

Well I got all of my rear suspension parts in on Friday, and today I got all of the Torque boxes welded up... Now I need to get the control arms and shocks installed...

Well guys, I finially got all the suspension work done and let me tell what a difference it makes just on the street.. I also took off the front swaybar too.. I can really feel the weight transfer and this thing just hooks up and goes.. When we took out the stock upper and lower control arms every singe bushing in there was messed up pretty bad.. Taking the top bushing out of the rearend for the uppers was pretty easy but getting the new solid ones in was a pain in the butt.. We broke one C-clamp in half putting those things in.. I'm glad I didn't try to do this my self even though I did help install most of it.. I wouldn't have had all the tools needed for this job.. I can't wait to test it out and see how it runs. I'm thinking of going out to K-Dale on Thursday for some TNT to get the shocks dialed in.. See you guys on the 28th..
