Wink The young and irresponsible... ages?

So who is the youngest mach owner in Texas just out of curiousity? Am I the only *insert stereotypical snoody remarks here* kid in Texas much less Houston with a mach 1 at 17 years of age or younger?

Do you think your dad might want to adopt another son? One that has already been through all those trying times (you know, chasing girls, partying till you puke, and so on,and so on) If so I'm available! LOL jk.

wow...

Well, at first I thought I was young at 22 getting a Mach... but then this thread kinda pooped on that idea... then I thought I'd post to see who the youngest one on here actually paying for everything themselves was.. .but then I read 340's post and well, I guess I'm not that young for that category either... sheesh oh well, lol, I'm still proud to be doing this on my own either way. Hehe, no co-signer's or anything.

Yeah but you're still not a teenager either. Where the heck have you been hiding? I've been to a lot of races but no Brian out messing around.
Was thinking that your car is still on the slim fast diet? Got it down to 2600lbs yet?
I know Tomcat has been looking for you....hmmmm maybe that's why you're hiding.

I'm 23, and I'd like to know how you boys 18 and under afford the insurance!?!

I bought a brand new 98 GT when I was 17 and the insurance was $250 a month, and that was a GT. And I had to go through several companies because each term they'd drop me just because of my age and engine. (Even though I had no tickets or wrecks)

Now on my Mach, it's still $185 a month.

25 can't get here soon enough!

I was 21 when I bought the Mach and paid/pay for everything myself. Insurance is great when you're a woman and even better when you're married.

I pay $246/month for insurance with good student discount.

I am paying too much for too long on the Mach right now, but I am about to refinance through peoplefirst.com (actually capital one now)

Hopefully I can get my interest rate down to about 5% and knock off an entire years worth of payments.

(Sorry for the off topics, but does anyone know if refinancing hurts credit in any way?)

basically to save money on insurance: get married, be over 25, stay in college FOREVER for the student discount hahahaha, open your own business so it's a company car.
