German Cruise in January

A couple of us got together today and had a very small cruise and enjoyed this rare German weather.
All with winter tires and wheels on but great 50F day in Germany in January.

Yea I know but by German law I must have M+S tire until 1 April and I had my old GT wheels in the Basement with brand new tire so I'm rolling them. Its alot cheaper than buying new tires.

We are all part of a group over here and we have had 30 to 40 car meets so this was a very small one. Its not many days during this time of the year that we can ride.

Yea its nice to go on thunder runs though the small towns away from post. The older crowd loves the cars but hate hearing them. But hey they can't have the cake and eat it too.

I avoided the German Race Wars. First, I had no desire to drag Thor and second, I'd have been tearing the car to pieces run after run while those who challenge you can afford this as a hobby...

There are a TON of Mustangs in Germany and the majority are being tuned at Schropp Tuning.

we have a great time there, lot of racing, drinking and chasing a little tail around. it gives the boys a little release after working/deploying alot. the germans don't usually mess with us there, unless the are brave or stupid or a combination of both. we usually draw big crowds all weekend there. some of them have never seen a mustang, but then get to see 15-20 of them in one place.

BTW Schropp is doing my cams and tune in march hahah

Yes, I'm aware of the fun & frolic - I was in Stuttgart 2006-2009.

You will receive quality craftsmanship from Peter Shropp; he did all of Thor's work, proven on the autobahn.

Re: German Cruise in January

i have yet to hear anything bad on schropp since I bought my mach 2 1/2 years ago. SCT trained and certified, I ' ll go there rather than some other german places, where the don't handle mustangs much.

Peter did extensive work on both the 2003 white Cobra and my vehicle, and lifted my 1990 Cherokee as well.

You would be hard-pressed to find anything that his mechanics can not do.

I just wish he had a shop stateside - I'd ship any of my vehicles to him for work.
