Doubt I'll be getting her a Mustang soon. She already has the Focus as her car . Once she comes home from college, I want to get her comfortable in the Mach. She's already accomplished at driving a stickshift, but not used to the power.

It is Kim's (Curt's) 1987 LX I believe its rated at just over 300 HP and about 350 TQ. Its a fun little car. My son is loving it. Cleaning up the Mach a bit to at least be presentable at the show. Looking to have a good time at the show as usual.

P.S. Should we have a M1R Shelby Division table?

That's not a bad idea Bill. We've been needing a kids table for awhile.

Man I wish, Brian. Like to take off about 30+ years. Then I'd be your age.

Any ideas on a Thursday morning event or tour? What's in the Hershey Museum? Hadn't been there in a while.

Thanks, it's been a while since someone thought I am younger than I am. It would be nice to be 30 years your junior but alas that is not the case. Probably more like half that.

Will check on the museum. I know they now have one of the Tucker's. Not sure what themed exhibit is.

Re: All-Ford Nationals At Carlisle June 2017....>

K, checked the site. The themed exhibits will be Hemmings Classic Cars Detroit Underdogs and a 50th anniversary tribute for the Camaro/Firebird. Love the irony, could have just put them in the underdog exhibit and not needed the second exhibit. Always had a problem celebrating anniversaries of cars when there was a stoppage of production and then the name was brought back at a later date.

They have also added a new interactive display for the Tucker and a Route 66 display.

Good one Brian, we would fit the 'BILL" for a kids table without the Shelby's.

I was interested in going back to see what's happening at the Museum if we couldn't find anything else to do. The 42 years of Camaro's is interesting... I agree Brian, its not a 50 year heritage.
I could identify more Chevy's then Fords since I was corrupted at a young age by my father...

Same here, might be interesting. I'm a car guy period who favors Mustangs.

Might be a nice change from playing "Army" the last couple of years and riding around in Rolls Royce's.

I was just being a Ford Boy. I like all nice cars. A 78-81 Z28 is actually on my list to own before I kick the bucket as is a Gen 3 T/A. Wouldn't mind having another 67 Chevelle either.

Still kicking myself for selling my 83.5 Shelby now that I know that instead of putting a new timing belt on it, some D***A** kid stripped it to redo an 85. Who destroys a decent first year car for one that was made in the middle of the run. Sad thing is the 83.5 had quite a few unique to 83.5 parts that weren't on the later cars.

I assume you may have said this kiddingly however....
Cool, these are the cars I commonly want to make into drag cars or at the least put some descent horse power in them. Like a 4 door 1978 Chevy Malibu or a 1964 Chevelle 4 door station wagon. I like these types of oddities that are not usually thought of when you mention horsepower. Nothing like a 4 door going low 12's and it's a daily driver too... Grocery getters, sleepers.... I love them...

Oh and they have some "50" years (minus 8) of the Camaro to display... I owned a 1969 back in the late 90's.....
