70 Mach 1 351 Cleveland car, Barn Find Part II

1970 Mustang Mach 1 For Sale
351 "M" code, 4v, 4 speed, shaker, louvres, a/c, foldown rear seat, Traction lock, and Factory tach. All backed by Marti report.
This car is a clean, tight, car. It was found in a hanger where it has spent the last 10 years. Fairly solid car with light rust in battery tray, passenger floor pan, and pass quarter. Starts runs and drives (light tick from pass side rear, lifter), car has a cam and long tube headers, power steering has lost alot of assist but makes no noise, shifts smooth, original Ford Hurst shifter and correct knob(changed since photo). Trac lock still grabs, Most of shaker is there (including vac motor) with the exception of flapper door, snorkel and heat shields (long tube headers). All a/c under dash is there, but only compressor and bracket are present under the hood. Console is gone but I am rounding up a '69 one. All guages, tach, speedo, turn signals work. Fold down is all there and works flawless, rear trap door has speakers screwed into it but this is reproduced now, rim blo horn works flawless.

I would love to have that car. Problem is I would want to drive it every day...except really nasty rainy ones...

I would have to return it to its original color though...

One day...maybe...

I struggled with that.....The green is not my favorite color...but it is growing on me. I looked at it this way, If I painted it the color I wanted, I would always have to justify it to a potential buyer. If I painted it green, It would grow on me more and more and I would NEVER have to justify it to a potential buyer. Now if it was a yucky color, well then I would have to debate more.
As far as a daily driver, I drove my '69 390GT Sportsroof daily for two years in Northern Utah....I bummed rides in the winter alot, but I did it, and it was a blast!! Good memories and some of the best times behind the wheel.

Re: 70 Mach 1 351 Cleveland car, Barn Find Part II

I'm moved in, need my garage built 1st. No room in the existing garage for her.

Question tho;

In one picture the left rear wheel looks like a spare rim, where as the right side has specific wheels (picture on the road).
Is there a matching set?

Sort of surprised she is not gone yet.

When I bought the car it had a spare on the left rear.....I bought a pair of wheels to match the front so it has a matched set now...with new tires...for the same low price of 13,900......and yes I am surprised it is not gone as well, what with ALL the emails I have received.

It's Game time,
If it does not sell at this price...I am done
It pains me....
I am sick to my stomach about this....
If it wasn't for this other Cobra...I would NOT sell The '70....
I am to the point where I may loose the Cobra I am trying to buy, so I am dropping the price again.....
It will not get any lower then this, I will just keep it and try to come to terms with NOT buying the Cobra
On, and on, and on! lol

Yeah. If the garage was built, I'd be sending you at least $1k to hold her as I make the trek to get her.

Really want a shaker'd manual 1969 Mach 1, but for this price a 1970 would do NICELY.
Sorry I don't have anywhere to put her, she'd look purdy beside my DSG Mach.

I just don't understand why this one is not sold.
