Trunk key hole trim
Hey,
Looking for the round black trim on the trunk lid where the key goes. Like a bezel that just smartens up the key hole. Anyone have a car they are parting out that has one!? Thanks!!

Re: Trunk key hole trim
Sorry, could not find the gasket by itself online, however, here is a link to a complete assembly:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-doo...4-2004/p/LDC7/ You may try a salvage yard for a cheaper alternative. I believe that this was sold as a package by Ford along with the lock and was part#XR3Z-6343262-BA. Hope you can either find what you need or make it from a gasket. |

It does look a bit like a gasket. It’s more like rubber than hard plastic. You can feel that with your fingernail. I never really noticed this before lol.

Re: Trunk key hole trim
One would think that the rubber trim would be the same on all 1999 - 2004 Mustangs either v6, GT, or Mach 1. I imagine it would be the same on previous years also. Salvage yard is where I would go. They would probably give you one.

Re: Trunk key hole trim
Also, you know the outer door belt Weatherstrip has like end caps on them?
I am missing one of the those to on my drivers side section, the end cap closes to the rear quarter. Don't suppose any of you guys are near a salvage yard and on your next visit keep any eye out on those two bits for me by any chance!? Would be greatly appreciated
