perfect morning
Perfect morning for a cruise!! Anyone else out there? Unfortunately a day this nice at this time of the year brings back memories of 13 years ago..... Besides that, pulling back into my driveway this morning I noticed what seemed to be a lot of transmission movement and heard a bit of noise in the front end. Hoping if it is anything at all it is just motor mounts.... Any thoughts on this? Car runs great, just pulling into the drive made me notice it.

Re: perfect morning
Thanks man, pretty sure it is nothing, I just took a look and everything seems fine. I will put it up in the air and give it a better look this week. Monroe, NC huh? Most of my family in NC and VA, I miss it so much. That was one of the areas in particular I was looking at moving to. I want to go to the Ashville area but Charlotte is more realistic. Soon lol.

Frank I live in BFE almost in SC. Its a nice place to live and my job is 10 miles away in Monroe. Lots of open space or close housing depending on your preference.

Re: perfect morning
Lookin good! Hit that chin spoiler with some tire shine.
As for the noise, some things to check are the tie rods, sway bar and end links, etc. Hope it's nothing big.

Do you think it was your steering rack? Mine kinda makes some noise. It pops and creaks a little, but not on a consistent basis.
Yup, beautiful Sunday and Monday here in Indiana.

Re: perfect morning
I will try the tire shine thing. My phone always makes the spoiler and shaker look faded beyond belief. I have driven the car around yesterday and today and haven't noticed any sounds out of the ordinary. I think it was just the angle and speed I came in the drive maybe some rubbing? I will check all those suggestions out. Thanks guys.

Re: perfect morning
It very well could be the steering rack bolts. Its was a TSB issued from Ford. You can still order the replacement steering rack brackets that will take all the creaking out!! If you have a lot of miles, I would suggest replacing the rubber bushings at the same time.
