N/X plate help

Recently bought a Mach with a N/X plate. The cruise control linkage is now to short to reach the throttle body. Is there an adaptor or longer cable to use?

There is no adapter or longer cruise control cable. Get a nozzle and be done. The only advantages that are found using a plate are when shooting enormous amounts. An nx shark nozzle will take you well into the 200hp+ territory and be no problems. My .02

Thanks for the reply. Looks like that's the route I'll have to go if I want a functioning cruise control.

If you've got any questions about your setup you can give them a call. They have good customer service. Heck, they may even know a way to get the plate to work on your car.

Re: N/X plate help

Thats my old car, i would call a couple shops and see if anyone can lengthen the existing cable. If they can all you're going to need to do it pop it back on. Couple things if you go back to a nozzle. First you're going to need a new bracket that mounts to the throttle body and goes over the intake manifold. I wanted to keep everything stock appearing and the stock parts wouldn't fit with the extra width of the plate so i had to cut and weld a small section in to widen it so everything fit as it did stock.

Secondly, i was really unimpressed with the customer service of NX, thats why the plate is nitrous outlet, they're not going to be much help for you either as i had asked this same thing and they were more interested in seeing the bracket i modified as it sounded like i was the first customer to go about adding the plate to a mach and having everything remain stock appearing. Plates are generally more popular, some guys think they hit harder i've not had enough nitrous cars to tell a difference but i do like that its right at the intake i personally feel safer that way regarding puddles and it looks clean. But if you go nozzle again i'd go n20 outlet. But the way that car sits all it needs is that cable lengthened slightly and you're in business again.

I dont get on here too often these days but send me a message if you have a question i'll try and keep an eye out.

Hey explosive. Hope all is well. I'm keeping the plate on. Looks cleaner plus I just installed a color matched JLT air intake. I don't want to drill a hole in it. I've made a few calls without any luck.
