FR500 spacer for Bmeagher

I got this finished up this afternoon. Its a 2" thick FR500 intake spacer. It was made in one of my 5 axis wire electrical discharge machines (wire EDM). Its made from a slab of 6061 T6 aluminum.

That looks like a very sweet, and pricey, part!

Be interesting to see what it does.

Roy,

That thing is amazing. I'm guessing the aluminum by itself is close to $200?

Great work Roy, thats a piece of work.. Im also in for the results. I just picked up, supposedly, the last ported FR500 intake by Mike Tymensky. Its currently at Nitrous Outlet getting plumbed and flowed with a duel spray bar..

I doubt it, I have the H.O fiber trends 2 1/2" hood and I'll still have to modify the throttle cable bracket. I'd have no problem if I wasn't running cruise.
Another option, would be shimming the k member down. But then you need coil overs.

If I had the 4" hood, you could get away with the 3" spacer.

I have no idea if it’ll clear a cobra hood. I can make you k-member shims if necessary.
