N/A code on ODB2 reader?

My check engine light came on last week. I plugged my ODB2 reader in and it shows n/a instead of a code. Do I need a different code reader? I have a u480.

Thanks!

Re: N/A code on ODB2 reader?

I just use the standard ODB2 tool that is wifi to my iPhone. Then use Dashcmd app, I did buy the ford package for it.

This one should work: https://www.amazon.com/LOLLDEAL-Comp...rds=obdii+wifi

Re: N/A code on ODB2 reader?

Ended up picking a new one up from Autozone and it worked.

Got P0340 for the cam position sensor. Now on to solve that issue!
