4 Post Lift Group Buy Offer.

I Co-own the Motor City Marauder website and we recently set up a great deal on a Dannmar D-7 7000 lb 4 post lift. This is a hobby/storage unit, not a high priced commercial lift. It is normally priced at $1899.

The group buy offer is...
The Dannmar D-7 4 post as described below for ONLY $1700! No taxes!

Free Shipping I believe to your door if you have means to unload it from truck, if not, free shipping to a local depot where you pick up. This is a huge savings...

Caster wheels, Drip trays, and Jack tray included for FREE. I may be able to talk them into one of those oil change catch basins for changing oil on the lift too.

I need a committment of FIVE orders to make this work. I am in for one. I believe my neighbor will be in for one as well when I tell him its only $1700 shipped!

Any questions post up....

Complete details here: http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4062

Here are the stats:

The space saving design of this lift is ideal for service work or adding parking. It makes a perfect addition to custom homes, service stations or maintenance facilities. No special foundation is required and installation is simple. Optional casters enable you to roll the lift outside or wherever best suits your needs. The space saving lift fits in a typical parking space and has an overall height of less than seven feet to truly maximize valuable floor space. You can also use the D-7 lift for service work or detailing. Other uses are storage of ATV’s, snowmobiles, jet skis, golf carts, boats or anything else that needs to be up off the ground. Utilize the space you now waste above your car even with a standard 8-foot ceiling.

FEATURES:

7,000-pound lifting capacity.
Simple operator controls for easy operation.
10 spring loaded safety locks on each column.
Self-lubricating UHMW polyethylene internal slide blocks.

Re: 4 Post Lift Group Buy Offer.

Now, my ceiling is 10'. That is probably as low as you want to go. 10.5 to 11 feet to ceiling would be ideal The lowest catch is either 18" or 24" off the ground, I forget. Then it skips a foot and then there are catches ever 4". The highest catch is 70" as the picture below shows.

Now, with 55" of clearance below the ramp, the ramp is 4 inches thick, that leaves me 61" of clearance above, based on my 10' ceiling. You can figure the possibilities from this. Here is the breakdown based on a 10' ceiling.

47" below/69" above (47+69+4(ramp height)=120 or 10'
51" below/65" above
55" below/61" above
59" below/57" above *
63" below/54" above

*This is the way that works best for me. The Marauder will fit under this and my 85 GT/Mach 1/93 Vert will fit above.

You should be able to figure how much room you will have with your ceiling height.

This group buy will be finalizing this week, if you are interested, shoot me a pm and I will provide you the contact name and number. Its a great deal on a great lift. It will be my second one. In a year or two I will need another!

Verry nice garage! I like your choice in vehicles!

I have a carport and I wonder if this is system is weather-resistant?

Re: 4 Post Lift Group Buy Offer.

Dang, my new garage ceiling is only 107"..and the Mach1 is around 54" tall, wouldn't be enough room for the 2008 under it....too tight for me. I can get 3 in now (one across the back on dollies) and 2 in the front....with plenty of room (24'x30')

great price.!

Thanks for posting this.

Just a couple days to decide, that's all.

Re: 4 Post Lift Group Buy Offer.

What's involved in the installation, any special tools, skills needed? Does it plug into a regular 110 outlet? What is needed to remove package from the delivery truck? Thanks

They recommend professional installation. I wouldnt tackle it myself. I would want the peace of mind that it was done right. It works off a 110 outlet or 220 outlet if you want, they ask which when you order it. You would need a hi lo to get it off the truck. The company that I am dealing with can provide you with qualified installers in your area, if you picked one, you could have the lift delivered to them.

63" below/54" above

A good friend of mine, has one of these.

It is not the ceiling height you need to worry about, but the available height under the open garage door.

You can have 20' ceiling, but if there is only 8' under your overhead garage door when it is open, then you can only make use of that 8'.

My friend had some garage door installation people come in, and do some fancy custom track work, such that his garage door now "hugs" his ceiling, leaving the max amount of space for the lift.

If you look closely at this one pic from MI2QWK4U, you wll notice the roof of the white Mustang clears, and just clears, the open garage door.

Re: 4 Post Lift Group Buy Offer.

Thats a good point. You will have to raise your garage doors as I did. The picture is deceiving, There is actually 7 inches above the GT. As long as you have 2 or 3 inches above the car to raise the lift and clear the support, you are good to go. If I back the GT onto the lift, the garage door isnt a concern.
