Re: where to get breakfast at supper-time?

Waffle House used to be pretty good around here back in the 80's and early 90's. We go to a local place called Elegance. It's kinda hard to find a clean Denny's in Indy, but that would be my second choice.

Maybe Crackle Barrel should be on your list..? I'd go to those for breakfast and supper time. Just thought about them lol.

It's hard to beat a good old family run restaurant for breakfast, no matter what time of the day. Real fried potatoes, eggs, home cured bacon, or sausage gravy over your potatoes, and homemade bread toasted. I think I'm hungry now, gotta go eat

Re: where to get breakfast at supper-time?

I'll start by saying that breakfast for dinner is even better than in the morning! But I chose "other" because I prefer home cooked breakfast. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy...omg

Other. Home-cooked and save myself about a thousand calories. If I do want to splurge, then Cracker Barrel, Eat N Park, IHOP, then Denny's in that order.

Re: where to get breakfast at supper-time?

http://blog.dictionary.com/supper-vs-dinner/

I think dinner and supper are regional terms

for me, lunch is lunch and dinner is supper - the term supper is not usually used.
but supper is less ambiguous, so it was better suited to the intent of the poll.

no idea how Cracker Barrel was left off; that would have been my first choice if more than 2 seconds of thought had been put into it.

I think you're right about it being regional. That's how I grew up with it.. Breakfast- Dinner - Supper.
