Re: trying to attach photo?

I use the 'insert image' option and link to my pictures on Google+. Funny thing is that the Insert Image option does not appear in the 'Testing & Misc.' option menu above. Very strange.

Re: trying to attach photo?

You can also manually link an image with the [IMG]url[/IMG] tags.

Like this:
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-a...bmwdance10.JPG

But, for the 'testing' forum this does not work for some reason, so in other words the 'testing' section is completely worthless if you are trying to learn how to post pictures. You just have to go make a real post.

I suspect they have some restrictions applied to the testing area, pictures have been an on and off struggle over the years.

Re: trying to attach photo?

There seems to be some issues with the latest version of the type system we use. I've found the best way to do this is to post in the photo gallery and then copy and paste the IMG like that you'll get with the photo, plus it gets you saved in the gallery area as well.

Is there a reason why the 'testing' forum has different options than the rest of the forums? Meaning, insert image is not available.

Re: trying to attach photo?

This is how I insert pictures from my computer into one my posts. When you are creating your post, scroll down and you should see a box that says Manage attachments in the additional options area. Click manage attachments and another box should how up and then click browse to find the pic you want. and then click the upload button. After you uploaded the picture, look by that box below that says manage attachments and there should now be a link to that pic right by there. Mine shows in blue letters. Right click on that link to the picture and copy it. Then paste it into you post and put [img] before the link and [/img] after the link in your post. it will look like this. [img]picturelink[/img]. Make sure you picture isn't too big. You may have to resize it if it's too big. Also, if you have that picture already posting in a different thread, it will not let you repost it again.
