Re: mpg
Is this all/mostly street miles? Freeway miles? Mix? Which brand of gas do you use? Have you changed your fuel filter? Have you given it a tune up since you got it?
I noticed that I was averaging 200 miles a tank when I messed with the smog/emissions lines. Once I reconnected/routed the stuff correctly again, it went back up to 220-240 a tank. If I do mostly street driving, I've seen it as bad as 180 to the tank and as much as 220. Freeway miles, as low as 220 and as high as 310! Average id say is 230 or so

Re: mpg
Depends on how/where you drive. I drive mixed highway/city having fun every now an then and average around 18MPG. If you're driving mostly city I wouldn't be surprised by 15, especially with the auto.

Re: mpg
I'm seeing 22-25mpg with my set up. I also don't romp on the car all the time and I do mostly highway miles when I take it out.

Re: mpg
Driving styles are so variable & they really affect MPG...hard to say but take her out on a nice long freeway trip & use cruise set around 70mph & see what you get. Our 5 spd can vary from 14 to 29mpg depending on what we are doing! They are so much fun to drive aggressively that it is hard to keep out of the throttle & drive for MPG's! Still have the stock 3:55's?

Re: mpg
Mine is also an auto and in the city with my few mods I can only get around 16-17mpg. I imagine with 4.10's it might get better (city)

Re: mpg
I'm probably getting around 17 mpg with strictly city type driving. I have gotten as high as 19-20, but I've given up trying to get a few more miles per gallon. Too much fun to use the power when I can. I am getting at least as good (and usually better) mileage than the 03 V6 auto Mustang that I traded in on the Mach 1.

Re: mpg
My car has a few bolt ons (5 speed) and i average 210-220 miles a tank with mostly city/highway driving. I know since all gas is atleast e10/15 ( i can't find 100% gas anywhere around here) my mileage has went down. When i bought my car i easily got 250+ with just driving around. I have gotten 28 on the interstate running 70-75.

Re: mpg
I get a consistent 285-300 per tank. Drop in filter, OR pipe, and catback only, tires at 32 PSI. Going to put the factory H pipe back on, SCT Tune, air up the tires a bit and see if I cant get 300-330. I do frequent highway driving.

Re: mpg
First, Welcome! This is the section for Welcoming new owners. Questions, should be put in the appropriate section.
YOu should do a Search on MPG or Gas Mileage, it's been discussed MANY times, and start a new thread for discussion on the subject or just reply to an existing thread. http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...&highlight=MPG http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...&highlight=MPG City, Never check it. Highway, around 25-28mpg. a few mods (CAI intake, catted H-PIpe, magnaflow mufflers, Iridium plugs and Amsoil full synthetic). Thx.

Re: mpg
My automatic is all stock and I'm getting 22mpg. That is driving 55mph and never stopping for traffic. I have a great 30 mile each way commute through farm country.
I have gotten 17mpg avg/tank when I drove around town a lot and had to sit at lights. Automatic trans seems to really affect these cars compared to the stick Machs.
