Haha this just made my day. I'm reading it while my girlfriend gives me an evil look. But on the bright side I did get her the 2015 Eco-boost 378 days ago.

When I had my 01 I'd get asked that a lot. I usually had a couple people come over and check it out because the F1A was a "little" loud. It was fun to watch their jaws hit the floor when I told them. I usually average 13-14 around town and 18-19 on the highway. Yes, that was with hitting boost a lot. Usually after telling them they couldn't see the point of driving their econobox.

When being asked over the years
I'm like it takes premium fuel only says it on the dash, I dont think I care much about getting the best mpg driving a 4v, v8. The sound of the exhaust makes it worthwhile.

MPG wasn't my goal. But I usually kept track of it because if the mileage fell off I knew something was amiss. Plus I drove long distances in that car. I didn't want to have to plan the trip gas station to gas station.

And, well, I thought it was impressive to have a 650ish rwhp car with 80lb injectors getting that MPG.

It's been a while since I posted but the car made 601/526 I think. I also recently bought a F1-a but have no idea when I'll put it on. I'll post a dyno video later

I loved the F1A. Sometimes I wish I had swapped it onto my 04 instead of selling it.

Re: Starting my Build

Finally had time to take the Mach out to the track last night. I got three runs in with the best time being 10.9 at 125 mph. First run was 11.1 at 125 with a 1.64 60 ft, second round I was spinning a bit and ran 11.5, and on the third run (10.9) my brother-in-law hooked me up with some track bite and the car hooked pretty good with a 1.54 60ft
