Talking Some interesting build numbers and percentages

So looking around for numbers and stuff I got to thinking about what percentage my car was. In 2004 there were 141,907 Mustangs sold. Out of those 7,182 were the Mach 1. There were 1,059 black models. Out of those 1,059 there were 842 that were 5 spd. If my math is correct that means only 0.59% were black with a 5 spd in 2004. I tried to find the numbers for the IUP and non IUP but no luck.

Now if you have a 2004 Yellow Auto that is a percentage of 0.10.

Factor in totaled out vehicles and just general time taking it's toll and in 20 to 30 years the Yellow auto non IUP that is still factory stock will be a rare find Sooooo if you have one, I'd advise holding on to it.

Re: Some interesting build numbers and percentages

I've always wondered how "rare" my mach was as well. I can't find complete production numbers anyway. If anyone can help, I have a 2003 TR 5 speed non-IUP. I know its one of the non-rarest colors, but I'd still like to know. =D

Also, anyway to know what # built i was?

Well, we've all seen amazingly original cars from the 50's and 60's. Just depends on the owner(s) I guess.
