I need this fitting!

I currently have a oil sending unit in this location for an autometer gauge. Its leaking very badly so Im going to take it off and plug the hole but I've lost the plug I took out. Does anyone know where I can find one or does anyone have one they'll sell? Thanks in advance.

Re: I need this fitting!

Yeah Home depot......I took my sending unit out so that I can set up a pump spray to prime my engine when it finally gets done. I just went down to the depot and matched em up.

I believe it to be 1/4 NPT. Any hardware or automotive store should carry it.

Re: I need this fitting!

I need to check and see if its already cracked. I cant find out where its leaking from. I just assumed it was from the sender since that's when the leak started.

Re: I need this fitting!

yeah mine has had the tiniest leak from that area for a long time. I changed the adapter gasket and now I just did the oil pressure sensor and the aftermarket oil pressure senor. hopefully no more look. Gonna triple check for cracks though.
