Re: The "What did you do to the Mach this winter" thread!
Let's see, I have a laundry list of goodies underway:
Built/forged lower end with 10.0 compression Mahle pistons and Manley rods with ARP2000 rod bolts Reworked heads with CNC port job and new springs ARP head studs MMR timing chain adjusters Whipple 3.4L supercharger Accufab single blade TB ID 1000 fuel injectors CP-E Triple fuel hat Twin 465 Walbro pumps Fore return fuel system with new rails, regulator, FC3 controller, PTFE lines, yada, yada, yada Switching from the T56 to a built 4R75w including a custom VB, custom torque convertor, B&M Hammer shifter, and Baumann Quick4 controller Replaced the manual transmission tunnel with an automatic tunnel Big Dawg transmission cooler Redesigned the coolant system to remove the stock overflow tank and thermostat housing with the On3 setup Maximum Motorsports remote oil filter setup Maximum Motorsports K member and A arms Full compliment of Autometer gauges Brembo 6 piston front brake setup with SS brake lines Rear seat delete AC delete Lots of rewiring And a few other little things to purchase like a new front bumper, windshield, fog lamps, and headlights I am also considering a new set of wheels and a set of light weight seats for the front, upgraded timing chain studs, and maybe an electric water pump. I know I will need a cage the first time I hit the track. My garage is a wreck and I can't wait to get it all back together! Once all of that is done, I need to replenish the savings account because the plans for next winter are switching to the 6lb lower pulley(jump boost from 23 to 28) and installing nitrous and maybe a meth injection setup. Yes, this is a street car...for now. |

I'm like ^this as well. Mine had bullitt wheels on it instead of the OEM Mach wheels when I bought her. I had to daily drive her for a few years, so she has close to 61k miles now. It also had these horrid aftermarket tail lights on them that looked like they came off a Civic. Yuk! The previous owner also had bought a cold air intake that removed the connection to the shaker. Fortunately he kept the stock shaker intake parts. I can't imagine having a Mach 1 and not having the shaker connected. It just doesn't make sense to me lol. So I have been buying parts over the years to get back to the stock look. This winter, I purchased an OEM windshield cowl as well as an OEM chin spoiler. I still have my original chin, but it's pretty beat up. I bought a cheap replacement from LMR in 2013, but it doesn't fit the same, so I've always had plans to spring for another original. They aren't cheap though, $209 haha. IG: @rcodemach1

Re: The "What did you do to the Mach this winter" thread!
So here are a couple shots of the Auto Shifter ball installed. I know the interior needs cleaned, I did the upgrades to her car, she is gonna clean it...
Looks good just different, just need a manual shifter boot for it.

na. I think I am going to remove, polish, and clear the ones on it. I wonder if they make high temp clear paint...
Thanks for the compliment.
