Re: New mustang....
I once got "Nice Cobra" I said "thanks but it's a Mach1". He looked at me in disgust and replied "They don't make Mach1's anymore". Of course that was about 4 years ago when it was a year old.

Re: New mustang....
Just got a similar comment the other day. A passenger was asking about something on the interior and I said something along the line of, "I'm not really sure... I bought it used". She replied, "Oh, I thought it was brand new!"
Glad to know my waxing/cleaning/polishing OCD is worth something at least! |

Re: New mustang....
Just a couple of weeks ago a guy in an I95 toll booth in NJ said he was looking at a new GT500, but it was too much money. He wanted to know what kind of Shelby my Mach was!

Re: New mustang....
Timing is everything. Just washed the Mach yesterday morning and moved it to the street so I could do the Focus. Some guy in a Firebird pulls up and says "nice car, is it a Cobra?". Told him it's a Mach 1. Kinda looked confused and then said to call him if I ever wanted to sell it. Then drove away without leaving a number. Not that I would sale it, but duh!

Re: New mustang....
I stopped by a ford dealership with my buddy one day and the guy asked me " does that have the 5.4 lightning motor in it? and "did you put the shaker on yourself?" I wanted to ask him if he was serious. Car salesmen kill me.
