2002 SVT Cobra
Hello Everyone. I thought some of you may enjoy my latest video on the 2002 SVT Cobra. It's really the missing link between the 2001 Cobra and the Mach 1, and a cool story in my opinion!

Re: 2002 SVT Cobra
Yup, interesting story. I can't remember if you went into detail in regard to the extra lights in the bumper, but I think it had something to do with requirements for Australia's transportation authority etc.

The thread made on SVTP informed us that the 02 Cobra was also sent to Japan. That was something I wasn’t aware of.

Re: 2002 SVT Cobra
If you read Scott Hoag's and Tony Alonzo's Bullitt and Mach 1 book you'll see one of them was the basis for 2003 Mach 1. John Coletti was upset with the upcoming 2002 Cobra, cancelled it for the year, and said Scott and his team could have the car. The one thing they wouldn't let Scott have was the name "Cobra Jet" for the shaker hood scoop since the word "Cobra" was owned by SVT.

Re: 2002 SVT Cobra
The best story is in print in regard to the '02 Cobra debacle is Collettis 'Iron Fist Lead Foot' book which I do believe is now being reprinted.
Herre are some for sale, both '01 and '02 year models. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/for...g/cobra-badge/
