I think he just got addicted to detailing cars. You can probably find him car detailing forums, telling everyone how to detail their cars.

I miss the guy myself. Yeah, he was blunt, but he would always try to help, when someone talked with some sense to him. He had a lot more to do than just being on the forum pages all the time.

Yes, he was banned due to not following the rules of the forum (warned numerous times and still didn't learn) and for some of his comments to threads and other members. We recieved a lot of reported posts about him and had members quit because of his comments.

The guy was extremely knowledgeable about cars and Machs. He was also and absolute a$$ if you asked a question. We are not all full blown mechanics. I dont miss him one bit.

I've met afew people like him in life. Seems like if your personality matched his, you could ask anything. Otherwise, it depended on time of day, day of the week, how you worded the question, blah, blah, blah. When I meet people like that, I'd rather not even bother with asking them anything, and go way out of my way to ask someone else.

i was going to go to a shoot out just to take that old man out at one point in my life, (argued over an underdrive dampner). then we got along on some subjects and i came to like that old man somehow. i was sad when he was banned.
