The 4.6 emblem and the high performance emblem are available separately. Only problem is they cost about twice that much that way.
Also, can someone post the dimensions of the emblems. Thanks.

I love the way the 4.6 performance badge looks in the lid. In fact, I ordered one of my own. Thanks for the tip!

I have to agree with the above statement! I like the clean look. Not that I have anything aginst personolizing your machs,I respect that. I guess it all boils down to what each owner wants.

The only thing I'll do to the outside is add the "cobra jet" badges to the shaker and small MMNA stickers to the quarter windows. and that's it!

Hey Harry you need a MGW black plate frame on your zinc. Would look awesome contrasting with the yellow.

A bit $$$$ but hey these are our pride and joys right???

Go out and buy yourself a present from the Mach Santa!!!

Adding Cobra Jet badges is no different than changing the side badges. They are both modifications to the production vehicle as is all other changes. But I think, as long as it is not rice, its all ok. I generally do not care to spend money on non-performance mods. But to get rid of the 6 cyl look for $20 was not a bad thing, IMO.

BTW, I don't understand designating these engines as Cobra Jets. Can someone explain why these are Cobra Jet engines. I saw a thread about them being Hemis and while that may be physically true I sure would not put a Hemi badge on mine.

The Answer is NO

Thanks.
Removing the Running Pony exposes two holes and the Mach Letters from the trunk will not cover those holes

I added the '04 Thunderbird V8 emblem below my running ponies. Check the link and starting at 974.jpg is the V8 emblems on the Black Mach

NOWAY will they cover the holes.

I have NO idea why Ford puts holes in their sheet metal/fiberglass to install emblems NO other company that I know these days does such a crazy xxxxxx thing!

Thanks for all the info on the "Mach 1 " emblems guys. I guess I'll have to go to plan "B". Looks like "4.6" emblems are going on. I just have to get rid of the "V-6" running horse emblem.

Thank's for you comments James, The way I look at it ,theres alot of things ford should have put on the Mach1 to make it stand out more. Like the 4.6 HiPo badges on the side instead of the v6 look. Atleast they did some changes for the 40th anv. ! But all 2k4 mustangs have them.

As retro as they made the mach1 there should have been some more to it ( like the cobra Jet logo on the shaker ) I think what alot of owners do is take there Machs one step further to make them "theres".

The new mach1's are as close to a CJ as we will ever see. It 's going to be interesting to see what retro look they will come up with for the 05. and not just the shelby gt350 look.

Gary Loat makes these, he is in Canada and it takes about a week from the time you order to get them from him. Excellent quality, super packaging and they look great. Pay via PayPal on this sight in the products section

Took about 10 days, but Gary warned that in some cases they take longer than others.

They are quality and packaged so well there is no way the postal service can hurt them. They add the personal touch most of us like.

I have not changed the mufflers, YET. I will at some point but I have not really made a decision as to what set up I want. I am leaning toward a MagnaFlow catback, but don't know yet. I have heard the 40 series Flowmasters on a Mach 1 and the cruising drone is too much for me. I want something that will sound nice on accerlation, but not be too loud when cruising at 2K or so.

Here's hoping you and yours have a great holiday season.

To a fellow OKIE! There are lots of threads on exhaust. I chose Magnaflow 15671 and bought them on ebay. These are the FLOWS as I did not want the PACKS and DRONE was a concern for me as well. They sound awesome and no drone at 70 in 5th RPM 2000. Put your foot in it and they sound fabulous.

Of course you know that once you put these on it will be like this all the time:
