Steel antenna - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I finally replaced the steel antenna with a black one thats 2 inches shorter.......The steel one looked way out of place on the car........Or is it just me "Mr Captain Anal"

If you are Lee, then I am too. The silver pole looks rather out of place. To go even further, I've shortened mine to just 14".

Looks even better with minimal impact of reception... not that the radio's on much, anyway. :LAUGH:

I shortened an old antenna to 14.5" and painted in flat black. I haven't noticed a loss of reception, but its hard to loose a signal on the prairies.

i just got the short black replacement at pepboys..no change in reception, but thats here in the city

canadian tire has a 15 inch black (nice one) for 15 bucks or so. i put one on, with no reception loss. happy happy:THUMBSUP:

it came with 3 or 4 adaptors to fit other cars. it seems to work real well. cheers
