He said he knew someone named Mock Wonmer Auder. Then he made German chicken noises. I didn't understand until now. You guys need to quit picking on GTO's. I got the new tranny and clutch in. Still need a few miles to break things in but I will be running somewhere. Fireturd Friday night? SW Saturday? Let me know if you can make one of those. I need a couple of runs at least to figure out how this thing is going to work. Shifting into 2, 3 & 4 are an adventure without synchros. Shifts great but the noise is scaring the **** out of me. I need to make sure it will shift around 6200 or so. I have been taking it easy for now. You are still running your factory motor right? Just want to make sure you have not thrown in a corvette crate motor and trying to pass it off as the one from the factory built by the aussies.

i THINK i'm going out for one run saturday at speedworld. Gonna put BFGs on and hope to crack 11.49. Its still spinnin pretty nasty when the N20 hits, so that should be the difference.... i hope. And only one run cause i'm not gonna test the half shaft gods too much with that kinda torque. lol After reaching the goal this coming saturday (positive thinking)... the plan is to jet down to a 75 shot and start saving for a built tranny... then build the driveline from there. We'll see.. things change

Re: Mach 1-GTO name calling & insulting thread
Smitty, you going saturday night? I don't see anything scheduled for the daytime. Maybe we can get booted together.
Dre, I finally got tired of the so called built tranny from MMR. It never shifted right-you saw it at FFW and that was with only a handful of passes. It just got worse after that. I was going to go with a built auto but when I started to figure out what it was going to cost me it real expensive considering I was going to have to deal with the blower. I ended up going with one that was faceplated from Liberty. Shifts great but it sounds pretty bad. I am waiting to see what happens when I powershift it at 6K. Colonel, so tell us a little more about this hot 22 year old girlfriend that is given you the wood. BTW-when are you going to quit poking steers and come out to the real wild west?
