Mach 1 Bra

I'm thinking about purchasing a Bra for road trips, especially those long trips to car shows. I've never purchased one and was wanting some feeback on what is the best fit and easy to mount/remove. Any suggestions??

Re: Mach 1 Bra

I have one that came with my car from the previous owner. It's used but is in pretty good condition. Let me know if you are interested - I changed front bumpers so can't use it anyways.

I can check on the brand when I get home this weekend if you want. It seemed to fit well and wasn't that hard to put on.

Re: Mach 1 Bra

I had one yrs ago on a cutlass, i didnt like it because after a couple years it was worse on the paint then just leaving it off. Maybe the newer ones are built better. Ive seen products at car shows for taking long trips, its a film you apply to your front bumper, ive seen people use it at road courses as well, you just remove the film when your done. If i remember correctly it was bluish in color, i dont know who makes it or where you can get it, lol sorry i know thats not much help !

Re: Mach 1 Bra

I have the two part bra that Ford made, not sure if they are still available.

Relatively easy to get on and off and very effective at keeping bugs/chips off the front. Use it for long trips as yellow seems to be a complete bug magnet.

MUST be removed ASAP if it gets rained on as it tends to weep a bit of dye from the edging, even after years of use.

Re: Mach 1 Bra

I have seen alot of guys do a clear bra. Its just clear vinyl graphic covering the whole front bumber and hood. It looks like you have nothing on but it protects your paint and is easy to clean bugs and debris off of.
