Thinking about going back to stock rims

I swaer ever since i got my afs rims my car has not handled or rode as well as it did with the stock set up

While the crome AFS looks Killer with the deep dish in the rear
I am getting to the point i dont care about looks i rather have the
car drive better.....

i have had the tires rebalanced and i still get a shimmy from like 50 to 55 or so

and the car rides like a cement block

Re: Thinking about going back to stock rims

No problem with my AFS rims as far as ride is concerned. I've had mine about 18 months.

The AFS rims have bad quality control . When you buy them you get the luck of the draw . Some are out of round . .others the finish sux !

I'd agree with that. One of my rims slightly peeled abit, but the other 3 are still fine. I must have gotten a round set.

Re: Thinking about going back to stock rims

if youve got shaking in the steering wheel its the front end. has nothing to do with the rear.

Re: Thinking about going back to stock rims

Mine always felt like a brick on ice, stock rims and the aftermarket rims feel exactly the same to me.
