Re: NASCAR thread

I sometimes wonder what kind of weed these announcers are smoking when they make a pick for who could win the race. I was in the kitchen and I heard one of the announcers say David Reutimann. Give me a break. If that guy wins 1 Cup race in his whole career he'll be lucky.

I wonder why he was even there? It was nice not having him rave on and on about the Toyotas though. We all know that's all he talks about.

Re: NASCAR thread

That was pathetic having to listen to Waltrip. It was like watching those Mucus commercials with that fat flem ball guy making a home in his lungs. That was a great finish to the race. Nice to see a cool guy like Jeff Burton win.

Re: NASCAR thread

Awesome race. Nice to see Stewart and Busch wreck those Toyota's.

It was nice to see a class guy like Jeff Burtin win the race. To bad he don't race for Hendricks.

Ummm...then he probably WOULDN'T have won...

But I do agree on the Toyota assessment...seeing Tony smack another wall makes me wonder when they'll figure out that they need to take the big magnets out of the doors...or not...

Normally I would agree with you on Jarrett. But once he switced over to Toyota screw him. What a way to tarnish a great legacy that he created. I'm glad he sucked while with Toyota.

Yeah but the thing is, for some reason ,he wasn't doing that great with Yates towards the end either though.

Re: NASCAR thread

Is anyone going to Talladega in April? I can't wait to see the crowds reaction to JR & Jeff now that they are on the same team. I still can't find that **** green and white care in traffic.

At least the Ford's seem to be shaking off the slump. Maybe we'll see the 17 win at Dega?

Re: NASCAR thread

My dad is going with about 15 people in 2 big RV's. They've got the best spots in the infield. Up against the fence in turn 3-4. I got aced out of going because I'm not high enough on the food chain. People kill for the chance to see the race in these spots.

Re: NASCAR thread

#24 or #48. They have dominating this track lately. I think together they won 8 of the last 10 races there.

Let's not forget #88 as well. Hendricks will be the team to beat once again.

My pick,

Re: NASCAR thread

I'm predicting that Kyle will blow a tire ( or wreck) and that Tony will wreck (or blow a tire). Seems like a safe bet...

And that Hendricks will once again this season leave the track with their collective heads bowed in shame...

You've got the first part of your prophesy correct. As for the later, you should be flogged.

I think I've changed my mind on who's going to win this race. I think Hendricks is going to be left out in the cold along with Roush, and JGR. Now that Waltrips team has the secret sway bar from the Roush team it's lights out.

Waltrip and Rudiman with their new secret weapon will sweep Nascar the rest of the year.
