How do you get out of Groundhog Day?

I was initially thinking about the question of, "what age would you re-live again if given the opportunity?"

But until this moment, I have always thought this question was absurd.

I would gladly re-live being 18 years old during the last semester of high school and the summer prior to college. It was my apex of parties, sexcapades and being so naïve and stupid that I didn't know how naïve and stupid I was.

Then I realized this wasn't the real question.

What do you do to get out of re-living the same day over and over again that you have for the last 5 years?

Other than job/occupation; I honestly love my job for the most part because the money is not too bad for what I do, and the work-life balance is awesome compared to previous jobs.

I was about to drive a brand new Nissan Frontier PRO-4X off the lot for a toy when both my wife and dad said that I am having a mid-life crisis.

This is all probably TMI, but what the heck....

Re: How do you get out of Groundhog Day?

My kids help me to stay out of a mental slump and give me something to look forward to at the end of a day. 21 & 16 year old boys. Similar interests.. Cars, girls and annoying Mom.. lol

My daily job is exactly that "Ground Hog Day" I even make the reference to co-workers. 7 years 54 days till retirement.. So I can go do anything else...

Re: How do you get out of Groundhog Day?

So started a new hobby wondering if it would get off the ground.

E-Flite Turbo Timber
Google photos isn't cooperating again so including a "stock" photo.

FWIW if you've never flown an RC plane before, make sure you have an ample supply of spare propellers. The hobby store guy likely spoke some truth in saying, "A simulator will eventually cost less than a bunch of replacement parts."
