I guess we can try to take an early headcount Thursday to get reservations somewhere……. I’ll plan on bringing the standard amount of Chicken for Friday, we always manage to have enough between us and the Galaxy 7L group..

We have made it to the hotel...somehow without overheating the 66...saw 96° on the thermometer on the way down...

Jeff brought the t-shirt and card over today. Wanted to say thank you. It was much appreciated.. I have more tests tomorrow to determine which kinda of surgery I get. Open heart is their first choice, the tests are to determine if it is safe.

Been home a couple days now and am getting more energy each day. Spent some time in the garage today. Have to keep reminding myself to not overreach or try to lift too much. When they released me they said my heart is good to go. It is my breast plate and chest muscles that need to heal.They took two arteries from my chest and a vein from my leg for the bypass.
The initial blockage was 90, 99, and 100%. Fortunately I have a 4th vessel that most people don't have that had 0 blockage.

Hi-ho-hi-ho back to work I go cuz boy do I owe.
J/K I did return to work Monday on light-duty. Company has been very accommodating. So far my Health Insurance has been really good and I have enough in an old HSA to cover my out of pocket expenses. Each day is an improvement over the previous now that I have learned it is not worth overdoing it.

I put in a question to the people at Carlisle in hopes that we could find some recognition of the 20th anniversary next year for our Mach 1. This was the reply I got:
Hi John, Thanks for your inquiry about the 2023 show. It’s great to see your passion about the Mach 1. With us just celebrating the Mach 1 back in 2019 as a whole on its major anniversary (the 50th) it would be way too soon for us to add this to next year's agenda from an official display or likewise. Additionally, we try and celebrate on major anniversaries, not reintroductions because quite frankly that would get really tough to do with every group participating in the event and would water down the major anniversaries taking place. I get their point, and I do intend on making next years show, but maybe we can do something on our own to celebrate what is an important time for us.
