Which DD tire
I started looking at what new tires would cost for stock 17's and saw that there was some new brands and models out there. I did not know what is the best all round tire for a DD that will handle well on the road. I've always been a fan of Nitto 555's and was looking at going that way.

Re: Which DD tire
I think the Nittos are an all around good DD option. Right now I am running the Mickey Thompson Street Comps and have been fairly happy with them, but my car isn't a DD so I can't yet comment on tread life. They do, however, seem to hook fairly well.
Also, don't forget to update your signature with your new purchase.

Re: Which DD tire
NT555G2's here. Like them.
However, after the last year with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires on my 2019, I have to say they are the best all around tire I have ever run...

Re: Which DD tire
I have to say I just put a set of Cooper RS3 G1s on mine and I'm really liking them. Not noisy, good response, comfortable as anything I've ever had on the car and seems to be good in the rain. No complaints as of yet.

Re: Which DD tire
I've worked at a Cooper retailer/distributor for almost 4 years now and I'd been running the RS-3Ss. I've found them to be competent, but harsh for DD use. The newer RS3 G1 is far and above the earlier offering.
