which plugs, tr55's or tr6's

Full bolt on car, headwork, cams, 42# injectors, etc. It's an N/A car so I'm guessing tr55's, but want to make sure. thanks

Wow....42lbs on a N/A car??

Yeah I'd also go with the 6's with all that work.

Re: which plugs, tr55's or tr6's

Run the hottest plug you can while keeping detonation in check. Sounds like your set up (relatively stock CR) can run TR55s gapped at .055in.

That is what I use.

Re: which plugs, tr55's or tr6's

dont mean to jack thread, but with my setup, 355 to the wheels, cams, stock injectors, stock port on heads, and PP intake I just put in the tr6's gapped at 47, is that about right?

I would agree with this.

What is the reason others are suggesting going to a colder plug?

Re: which plugs, tr55's or tr6's

To help prevent detonation.

The key is to set up the tune to have the right A/F, timing, and octane fuel to match the TR55s.
