New Mach 1 Owner in Kansas
Just picked up a new to me 2004 azure blue mustang 77,000miles. It was a Florida and Texas car so no rust anywhere. It even averaged 26mpg on the way back from Texas. The car has most of the bolt ons already done to it, JTL cold air, throttle bottle, o/r x pipe, mac exhaust, mgw shifter, and I think motoblue pulley. I can't tell on the pulley it is stamped sfi legal and looks like the motoblue pulley but haven't found any brand name on it. And unfortunately raxiom headlights. I plan on keeping most of the mods. I have mixed feelings about the pulleys. I know that most say stay stock.
I remember when the mach 1's came out when I had just gotten my learners and it is the car that I wanted more than any thing else. Never would have thought that I would have the chance to own one. Even found the old 2003 muscle mustang and fast fords that has the original article about the mach 1. Used to be the only person in my family with out a mustang, not any more. |

Re: New Mach 1 Owner in Kansas
Here are two, not great photos but what I have at the moment. I think it is a pretty clean looking car. Other than the headlights and a silly mustang decal on the rear quarter I couldn't be happier.

Re: New Mach 1 Owner in Kansas
Also is there a better alternative to back to black for the shaker? I used it last week and after I washed the car it has faded more than I would have liked. I could just reapply it but there has to be something better.

Re: New Mach 1 Owner in Kansas
Right now it is my DD so not too much really. Since the car already has most of the bolt ones the only other thing that I am thinking is maybe some 4.10's, and a dyno tune.

Re: New Mach 1 Owner in Kansas
Congratulations on getting a Mach 1. A car that in the looks department never goes out of style.
