Water in oil separator
I installed a oil separator about a a year ago and emptied it a few times but never got more than a 1/2 inch or so in it. So have not even looked at it for about 3 months. now today I'm changing my oil and I notice that oil in the separator is milky looking. its about half full and looks like yellow milk, but oil I drained out of pan looks fine. Is this normal for it to just draw moister or where could it have come from.

Re: Water in oil separator
thats normal, especially if its just been getting driven on short trips. Its not getting warm enough for long enough to evaporate the moisture from the system.
This is exactly why idling a car in storage for 20-30 minutes now and then is NOT a good idea
