Isos?
I want to remove my isos front and rear to lower the car a little without buying springs (mine are stock). Will i need camber plates to adjust the front alignment back to normal or can it be adjusted on the stock setup?

Re: Isos?
You will be fine. I lowered mine with eibach prokit, only about 1.5" and I didn't need anything to get correct geometry.

Re: Isos?
Its will be fine. You may hear it pop once in a while or rattle on bumps. Nothing bad though

Re: Isos?
I cut 1/2 coil out my front with the isos and it lowered it about 3/4", lot of post where people take out just top or bottom iso and all kinda combos, whatever works for you, I did not need any plates or anything with 1/2 coil, alignment stayed dead on. I will honk as I pass thru J-ville tomorrow and on the way back Wed. (Orlando for the day at LaMottas).

Re: Isos?
The stockers are probably smushed so flat that it won't make any difference and might be noisy w/o them.

Re: Isos?
I would cut a 1/4-1/2 of a coil off instead of removing both isos.

Re: Isos?
I would cut the coil but don't have the tools or knowledge to do it.

Re: Isos?
Dude super easy, what I did was buy for $40 a set of stock springs from a member and cut 1/2 coil in case I didn't like it. DO NOT use heat, I used a simple cutting wheel with a side grinder and if you brought springs cut and iso installed, can't see a shop wanting a ton of money to install, pics (when you get new iso's they are just a tube, cut ridges to help "spin" onto spring)

Re: Isos?
Half a coil with no ISOs is a pretty good drop. If you want a slight drop I'd go with half a coil and keep the ISOs. Notagt is right, you want to use a cutting wheel or hacksaw. You cut the side that has the larger space between the coils, you want to flat side with the coils closest together to stay nice and flat.

Re: Isos?
I ran my other mustang without isos and it started to squeak... After reading several posts I may try to skip the isos when I put the new springs in and give it another try, it seems most people don't use them.
