Vortech V2
I'm selling the Vortech V2 that was on the Mach 1. It comes with the brackets, pulley and all piping, as well as the BOV and a Gates belt. No intercooler. I'll post pics when things slow down a little around here. It made 437rwhp/(Don't remember torque) on the dyno at PSI on 8lbs of boost on a 91 octane tune from an unknown shop in CA. Kit has about 48k miles on it. $2000 OBO. PM or call/text me at 832-499-0572. I'm located in Houston.
Jay There are a couple of members in the Houston area who have met me. Feel free to ask what kind of person I am. Last edited by JPJNTX; 06-21-2013 at 11:47 PM. |

Re: Vortech V2
Is it a non intercooled kit or kit missing a intercooler? Also is the head unit a self contained oil setup?

I believe you have to tap to oil pan for the V2 setup.

Re: Vortech V2
He's correct about tapping the pan. No cooler with the kit.

You would need the fuel and tuning requirements. And an intercooler, after cooler, or meth injection.
I believe everything else is including from what it sounds like, right OP? Sent with a shot of DROID go fast

Re: Vortech V2
You're right. I'm not sure what injectors were used, as we bought the car with the blower installed. I'm pretty sure the pump was a 255 walbro. Everything else you need is in the pics. We ran the car with no intercooler with no issues, including 2 Nmra true street events and one ffw true street. It's just a good idea to not make more than maybe 3 passes without a good cool down in between.
