That's for a letter carrier. I only did that for 3 years. I switched over to being a clerk, working inside for the past 16 years. Actually, only 1 time in my career have they canceled mail service because of a blizzard. Afew years back, power went out and I was sorting mail with a miner's light strapped to my head

. All the mail got delivered too.

We have a hill on our street and a four year old little girl crashed into a parked truck and messed up her eye about an hour ago. DON'T PARK CARS ON THE SIDE OF A SLEDDING HILL.

Fire truck and Medics hauled her away.

Our Machs are both in the garage nice and safe. Got quite a few idiots around here and I couldn't sleep if my car was outside. I hope the streets are clear by tomorrow since I have to venture out for groceries. Cupboards are getting bare thanks to my always ravenous kids.

I'd say this winter storm would go up against some that happened to me in the midwest. We got anywhere from 6"-18" on Wednesday, then yesterday it rained and then it all turned to ice. I mean 1/4"-1/2" thick ice. I have'nt seen ice that thick on my car ever I don't think. You needed a chisel just to get to your door key. Power out to 250,000. Mine was out for only 12 hours, but a storm afew years back had 2,000,000 people out of power. This city is a mess.
