all in all thats not too bad. Im sure there are places that will sell one injector.

did they try swapping injectors? I believe you kept your original engine harness so seems like it would be a harness issue but who knows

He is swapping injectors today, yes used my original harness and since no issues with Mach motor maybe something on motor install, it is the back cylinder on drivers side so who knows if something got pinched, troubleshooting in progress.

Note: Just realized injector wise alot can be found out with the AeroForce gage.

It was the injector..moved it and it followed. Tapped on it and piece of trash was must have broke free..runs smooth. Now its caster plates, need to ground down an edge on bridge just kissing the water pump pulley, very tiny leak on block side of oil kilter kit, could be with all the moving around AN fittings needs to be tightened, install lockout box and adj uppers and should be ready for Kurgan. Mechanic said on my Autometer gage the fuel pressure was constantly like bouncing, not wild swings, just kinda bouncing, think that is normal, especially since it is a startup tune , now twin pumps and BAP is still set from old combo...everything seems on track !!!

Well wrapping it up, all that is left is the plates and UCA. The leak is the o ring PS line, really slight, may go away when car is lowered.Coolant is fresh and burped twice, lockout box wired and under the dash, dude says it runs really nice. He even installed my little PS cooler and wired the IAT 2. All wiring soldered and shrunk wrapped in loom..really jam up job. Pics and the bill











Trans mount is new, all new fluids, just really thought it out and got all new parts as needed (even clearnced the bridge for EWP pulley and wired it with a relay). Guess after this, need tune, alignment. I plan on moving battery to trunk and running my catch can...gthen enjoy. I think this was easier than doing Eaton swap to the Mach motor. Oh, the shaker, my nemisis, the shaker mounting.

seems like a pretty reasonable charge. Ive always heard anywhere from 1000-1500 to R&R an engine not including any extras

I have an alternator issue (made seperate thread), coolant after 2 runs with water still coming out cruddy so will have to do a flush, alternator was rebuilt, not exactly sure why not charging battery..start up

Update: Well reason why oil was cruddy brown looking is because all 7 quarts of my brand new oil was going into the coolant thru the oil cooler. Car ran for over 30 minutes and coolant started overflowing and THEN they found out water was dirty due to mixing with oil. Do I need a whole new oil cooler.? Man I hope my motor isn't hurt now from no oil, what a heartbreaker

I just had to order that kit for the Cobra, that is what I used to rebuild the oil cooler. if you talk to a guy name Ken there, he will help you out big time, great guy.

the aluminator I had in my car had straight water run it for a while when they were going to some races, I ended up just taking the **** thing to the Ford dealer and letting them put it on the flush machine to get all the junk out. I think it was between 100-150, didnt seem like too bad of a deal for it to be cleaned out and full of coolant without having to screw with it

That might be the way to go about it, plus could get them to fill up the coolant and have it good to go. if they mess it up, then looks like they would be paying for it. Some stuff is easier to pay than mess with it ones self on certain things. I almost would want to have someone do the oil cooler if or when I have to rebuild it. just a mess of a job

Looking good! That's the oil cooler rebuild kit most use, did mine for good measure while engine was out, was glad I did once I saw the new o rings vs old rings...

x2 for taking to Ford and letting them do a thorough flush, then if there's any air left in the system afterwards they'll have to take care of it for you at no cost. I freaking pulled a good vac on my coolant system and held it for a few minutes before letting it fill and it STILL had air in the system on first start that had to be burped before it would flow.

We are gonna test alt (battery tested good), also will run a ground wire from alt bolt to frame.
Verified 2 grounds on block on motor mount bolts and one on radiator support, any I am missing???

Battery and alternator tested good, so gonna try running a ground wire from alt. bolt to frame. Oil cooler rebuilt (some o rings brittle, others mushy), thank the Lord motor had about 4-5 quarts of oil still in it, so will flush and do oil change with new filter. MM plates in. I will be using Schaeffer's oil
