No ETA, not really a "shop" shop, 2 friends of a friends who do this on the side, but they are good and the shop is surgical room clean.

very nice, if they know what theyre doing and have time to dedicate to it, it should take long. Hell Im slow and I can drop one out the bottom in a day in my garage

Not to be a spoiler, BUT. From what I read about belts, the green belts are what you would call a high mileage belt. Meaning the rubber compound is harder for a longer duty life which translates to not as much grip as a regular belt with a softer compound. Think of it like tire compounds, the stickier the less mileage you get.

ya I read something about this is well, basically if you arent having belt slip with em theyll last a long time but if you have any slip issues its gonna exaggerate it. I guess they also have some blue belts that are race belts and even stickier? It doesnt sound like they have much size selection on those though

Man I am always a dollar short and a day late, anybody got a link on a "sticky" belt, may be worth bringing to dyno in case it slips there.
Would it be a stock Motorcraft belt?? (Well, cross referencing my green belt #because of pulley sizes to get equivalent size as green..you know what I am trying to say).

Eh - Touchy subject...but I've always heard great things about the Gates Green (HD) belts.

I'm planning on running that version here shortly.

Dude is REALLY making progress, working on it after working a day job. Today I bought 2 gallons distilled water and bottle Redline Water Wetter for IC tank.....STILL waiting on PS cooler and fluid..sent Kurgan form for start up tune

It is in !! Lots left to do, but it is in along with my steel flywheel, PP and a new 26 spline Spec 3+ disc,anti venom mod,new TOB and pilot bearing I will have a FR Aluminum driveshaft, Magnaflow X pipe and other goodies for sale soon !

Starter is in, took flange off my old steel driveshaft and transfered to aluminum DS, X pipe in, which had a bung already welded on drivers side for my wideband, working on VSS lockout box, went ahead and put new U joints and tailshaft seal, moving along nicely
