Seeing another Mach 1 go by when you are in your other car.

Missed out on one of those Mach 1 moments yesterday.

I was out in my GTI on Sunday and saw an azure blue Mach 1 drive by. It is so rare that I see another Mach 1 and unfortunately I wasn't in my Mach 1 at the time. I gave a thumbs up when driving by, but didn't see if it was even noticed.

Worst part was that I usually drive the Mach 1 over to pick up my mother for the day and use the GTI to drive her back. I reversed the two, because I was going to fill up the Mach 1 on the return trip. If I had done my normal routine, I would have been driving the Mach 1 at the time.

Anybody else see other Mach 1s when you are not in your Mach 1.

We usually see other Machs when we are in the TB. If we're in the Mach, the others we see are going the other way on the Freeway. There are a couple in our car club, but we never seem to make the same events.

i always see a sick mustang/mach/cobra when im in my wifes civic or my lifted tacoma. when im in my tacoma, i always see mustangs.

and when im in my mach, i always see sick lifted trucks lol.. go figure..

bad thing about the civic, is i always get people trying to race my wife or me when we drive it lol

Just seemed so wrong to finally see another Mach 1 and then realizing that mine was home and in the garage. Then again, I'm sure just the opposite has happened when I've been out in my Mach 1.

I hate when stuff like this happens...there's a black Mach somewhere out here where i live and i ONLY pass her when im on my motorcycle...by now im sure she thinks the crazy guy on the motorcycle wishes he hada Mach cuz every time i see her i wave like a idiot and give thumbs up lmao....On the days im in my Mach.. i never see her..=(

Yeah, that's similar to what I was thinking. That the owner of the Mach 1 probably thought that VW owner wished he had that Mach 1....or had one once.

There's atleast 7 Mach 1s here on Fort Campbell that I know of. 3 including mine that all park in the same parking lot, we live in the same barracks building. There's mine, a stock AB and a black one with red hood stripe and door stripes. So, I don't think anything of them when I see them when I'm in my truck. It seems odd to have so many Mach 1s in such a small area though.

i've only seen 2 in Huntsville. 1 was Torch Red (like mine) and the other was a Screaming Yellow. Funny how you never pay attention until you own one..........and it sort of makes me made when I see them because I wanted to be the only one around here with one!!

This is the first Azure Blue I've seen in years. There was another Zinc Yellow around when I got mine 3 years ago, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

I know of at least two black Mach 1s south of me (members here) and once in a great while I see a Torch Red one. Any Mach 1 sighting is very rare. That's why it was so frustrating to not be in my Mach 1 when I saw that Mach 1 the other day.

All I see is machs in my area, I could throw a rock in any direction and hit at least 3. I hardly ever saw them at car shows but since I got mine theres at least one or more at every show!! Although I never see them driving unless im in my van, go figure!

I live in a smaller city and had only seen one in the area and about three months after i saw about 7. Then I bought my fr500 rims and next month 3 of them had the same rims lol

I guess that shows that other Mach 1 drivers are noticing yours.

would say i see more mach's when i'm not in my mach, i think its just happens like that. i've seen a few running around where i am now when i'm in the mach, but most of the time when i'm not in the mach

I never wave at anyone when I'm in my Focus. If I'm in my Mach and see another Mach or Mustang, I wait for THEM to wave first. Thus, I very rarely wave. I don't wave at air.

Saw a guy the other day in a AB 04 as I pulled out of the shop. The car had 18 AFS Replicas and was lowered. I pulled out and stopped in the middle of a 6 lane highway just to talk. He was not wearing a shirt and refused to turn the radio down to talk. I was yelling to tell him I liked the car but just had this look of disgust on his face. I was driving a customers 2001 Beetle so I'm sure he thought I was a tool. I really hope it wasn't his, there are enough D-bag stang owners as is.

Last week I actually met another 03torch red on the beltway heading back from lunch. It was one of those rare moments these days. it was cool

I never get to see Mach's over here. I have a buddy about an hour away that has a Mach but we neve really meet on the road. There is a lot of V6's, and 5.0's here.

I have a tr 03 mach there are about 3 tr's in my area alone I pass a ab mach 04 every other morning at the local dunkin donuts then they usually drive by my shop every morning because the mall, and other resturants are near me. sometimes i count how many mustangs not just machs but cobras bosses and others go by with Tasca Ford just up the street.

Don't see to many Machs around here. But Last week I did get passed on the highway by one... just my luck, I was in my DD Focus at the time.

I always seen other machs when driving mine, but thats because when I park my Mach, so do all the other mach 1 drivers lol. I think there are like 7-8 mach 1's in my city including mine, Mine is the only DSG one though .

The way it has been raining this month, I'm lucky to see my own Mach 1 outside the garage.
