1971/03 Mach 1 on ebay

This is certainly an odd duck in my book. A lot work from the sound of it...

Holy s***!! I think he needs more tire, the interior looks spooky in there, I think it is an abomination in too many aspects to list. Happy New Year Great One!!

I notice it has zero bids at the opening price. Probably sell for something closer to 25% of that price.

He will never get that price for that. I can't even imagine a 100% original 71 going for $65k

I spotted that car as well, I was going to post it up but saw someone beat me to it.

Neat concept, but definitely not the coolest Mustang to start with....but not the worst I guess either......1974-1978 could be worst.

Re: 1971/03 Mach 1 on ebay

Well ZERO bids for the $65K initial bid. Lot's of labor put into this one but only worth about 1/4 the price he was asking.

Saw a customized yellow 1969 Shelby GT-500 clone that was in several magazines and valued at $250K when it was built, go for $70K at a Mecum Auction last year. You might get lucky and find that one person that wants it at any price but many (including me) will put more into one than the real value of the vehicle.

Let me see if I got this right? It doesn't sell what you ask the first time so you add $20K and relist it? Guess that guy doesn't realize doing things like that are a "labor of love". In other words the next guy doesn't care about your labor, just the parts in it.

Bill, is this the one?

It's at a specialty shop in Charlotte. Thought about checking it out while at the 50th. They've normally got a lot of nice classic muscle there, including a sweet '69 T/A that I can't afford....but sure would pick up if the lottery numbers hit!

That's the one! Would have LOVED to have owned that one at $70K. I think the original owner won it in some kind of contest. I looked it over very close at Mecum last year and took a bunch of pictures and it was nice and clean.
