back in a Mach

YA BABY!!!!

Not my first one, but its been a while......

just picked up a Azure blue,Canadian car,

Found it as a roller with approx 42 K on the clock!
Guy had it pretty much disassembled with the interior out, dash and door panels still in the car, no motor or trans, even the front suspension was out....
after about a couple of hours of negotiations we came to a agreed value.

picked her up yesterday and the project is a foot!!

already have a good plan for it....sitting and waiting to be dropped in is 03 cobra motor with a 2.9 whipple crusher set up, built 4R70W, and 03 IRS.

return style fuel system and all...

all of this is coming out of my 2000 GT car

that sounds killer. are you going to put mach seats and stuff back in for a street car or is this full blown race?

how did your GT behave when it downshifted under boost? ive heard it can be treacherous with pd power.

its gonna be full mach 1 interior, my cars are street driven car with no gutting,

The GT car, has a built trans so no issues, already went 10.03@138 at 4000 lbs with driver on Drag radials driven to and from the track, its runs on corn(E85)
everything is in the car even have a killer chiller, no issues.

The trick with the 4R70W is never go wot from OD down into second gear, my tuner has it programmed to touch 3rd first then into 2nd if i ever forget to take OD off, plus when rolling along im usually in 3rd and if im gonna go wot i manually shift in 2nd the hit it and as soon as i do i shift 3rd and the trans will shift at the predetermined time either by MPH or rpm, usually the MPH speed set the shift points..

BTW IRS works great when mated to an auto....
