If you think there's still air in the coolant, you should get it vacuum filled and rule that out. Surely it isn't that after all the burping you've done, but who knows..
Thanks, do you guys put a certain amount exact or pump in till it starts to come out the fill hole ??

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

to fill the rear end I guess the exact fill level is with the car level, remove the plug on the front side of the diff, when it comes out that hole its full, very close to 2 quarts.

First off added 2 quarts RP and no FM, well louder than before and I can hear the clutches making noises never heard before, gonna try a heavier gear oil and FM....but have bigger issue..will post up in a moment what it is.

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

Ok, came out of a hotel 2 hours from home, cranked car and I had 17 psi fuel pressure. I had just installed a modified FPDM last Thursday and no issues. I drove car maybe a mile and pulled over since fuel pressure so low. I walked 2 miles and back to Advance and got a FPDM, installed, no change. I drove out of boost for about an hour and fuel pressure was slowly dropping. I realized I probably wasn't going to make it home so got to a friends house and shut her down.By this time fuel pressure (by gage on fuel rail) was 2 psi. I am running a 40 A Kenne Bell BAP and it was so hot you couldn't touch it. I tried cutting 2 red wires on BAP and bypassing it with the new FPDM, no change and actually ran ALOT worse than when I shut it down (think it just wasn't enough pressure after it bled down after running). Let me add as I was driving, the pressure drop was real gradual. I hear the click of CCRM and the pumps whir..this happened out of nowhere with other time being when car cut off 2 weeks ago, let it sit for 2 hours and it cranked up with 30 psi (that time fuel pressure gage would go to 100, then slowly to zero).

Black 306 gave me this reply after sending a email on the side of the road:

Now, can I use my Aeroforce to read the fuel pressure and duty cycle since plugged in under the dash.? Should the BAP get that hot? Was 97 degrees out? What are ALL fuses associated with fuel system? Is this a symptom of hose coming off a pump? Am I wasting my time trying another FRPS I have here? Any opinions or comments please, going with trailer to get car..also STILL having coolant issue..the faster I go, higher the temp and once it reaches 200+ nothing you do will get it to drop. Fan running on high, if I turn on A/C temp goes up quicker...I pulled xover plug..full, coolant res full (yes one shut while other open). I started the car cold with coolant cap off, about every 15 seconds, coolant would rise and spill out, go back down, rise, overflow, go back down..is this normal with car running and cap off ?? I think I must have a flow issue..EWP, clogged radiator..dont think thermostat since upper hose gets hard, also because of fuel issue, even at 97 degrees, running 45 mph temp stayed at 179..anything over 60 mph..forget it and also keep in mind, even with fan running, if you hit 210+, too, late...driving, idling,, doesn't matter, will keep climbing...HELP...ANY IDEAS, I am SICK of this coolant BS, NEVER had a coolant issue with stock mach motor with same radiator (difference being a Miezere EWP). Thanks guys !!!!!!

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

I went back today and car cranked right up with 16 psi by Aeroforce/OBD port, 6 psi at the fuel rail. FPDC at idle was 100 %. I think I will pulling tank to see a split hose or clamp blew off . Question before I go to that point: If the BAP was bad could it cause the pumps to be at FPDC ??? To bypass BAP I took both red wires and joined together that I cut off BAP, sound right?? Thanks guys !!

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

Sorry for your luck Larry.

After checking everything that post had and if you found nothing then I would drop your tank and look for a pinched hose, crack ect. Or your pump could be bad? But, first check to see if your duty cycle is 100%.

As far as the coolant issue; I feel your pain on that one. Have you done a leak down test? Have you verified that your fan goes from low to high? Easy way to check is start the car; let the temp come up where your fan comes on, then turn on the AC, the AC will engage your high speed mode of the fan.

Thanks, concerning fan, Kurgan has me at Hi speed only , comes on at 179, off at 172. FPDC is definetly showing 100% at idle read off ecu.

What fuel pumps do you have?

Have you considered going to a return style fuel system and getting rid of all the ford PWM mess? Made my life much more simple.

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

Well I dropped tank today and found this:

The hose blew out about an 1" before clamp. It is the Gates hose that comes with the Lethal PPRV delete kit. I noticed hose was spongy and can't understand how it only lasted 6 months. I thought when I installed I did enough loop, but maybe not, what you guys think, this pic is right before pumps went in tank

Instead of using Gates hose again, was thinking of using this (especially since I used the stock corrugated hose on all points EXCEPT this hose

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/abt-cfd401/overview/

With twin Improved GT pumps, any chance of blowing this out ??? Also may go with 16" hose and make a bigger loop with the corrugated. At that price would get a 12 and 16". Thanks guys

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

The hose you posted is 5/16". You need 3/8". I'm wondering if you may have sliced the hose when you were putting it together. That would have created a weak spot. It has to be something like that. The Gates hose in my tank is about 10 years old and I'm assuming it's still good since everything it still running.

Glad you found the problem. I'd try a different brand hose if it is spongy.

Oh s**t, that is diameter that came with PPRV delete kit (I used there Y connector so that must be the diameter they use), I just ordered the 5/16 corrugated hose from Summit...oh well

Well, maybe you'll be able to get the 5/16" to work.

If it was spongy then I would suspect it is not a submersible fuel line; it should be high pressure and submersible!

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

**** Larry....

I was gonna say maybe the wrong line but it says submersible right on the **** thing.

Think that zip tie could have moved around on the hose as it flexed under pressure from WOT and cut it?

I think you are right DSG, didn't even notice that, but it is in the area where it
split, with the corrugated line should be able to do away with that tie..great catch.

Re: notagt's 03 Ported Eaton/Cobra/T56 swap

On situations like that I cut a slighly larger hose inch and a half long then split it and run it around the hose as chaffing , then wire tie.
I do that on any hose I see that is touching something if I can not find another route.
