Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009

Hi Gary, you might want to go directly to the registration gate at Carlisle & get that over with as early as you can friday as it tends to get crazy & crowded the longer you wait & Satuday is just a zoo unless you have already checked in !

Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009

The Club Registration DOES go thru, just gives an error.

We will have a LARGE 10 x 20 Tent setup with the Club Logos, just look for all the Machs.

Usually have One class for Stock and One for Modified. in/around the tent

See you there.

Anything anyone needs, just ask!

Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009

Well this all just sucks for me this year
I am faced with the possibility of loosing my job with NYS

I wil not find out anythign untill june 10th so with all of that
I wil be cancelling my hotel and not attending this year ..................

I could loose my job that I have had for allmost 10 years I dont know how these state layoffs are going to affect me so I dont think its prudent to blow allmost a grand on a weekend away if i am going to be out of a job 3 weeks later.........................

I have made it for the last 6 years with out fail
but I am really worried about this so I am going to either be taking
permanate vacation as of july 1st

OR If i am still working I will just take off a week in july
and see whats going on ......................................

I am glad at least my car is payed for

The GT and bike well They can be replaced if need be..............

Mike, that really sucks. However, sell the bike (you're too old for that crap anyways), come to Carlisle and hope for the best in July. You need to start putting out resumes now. Hang in there and Good luck, Buddy.

Come on Ray, I promise I'll buy some good beer this time. None of the cheap stuff imported from America's Hat Country.

cheap stuff?
you bought skunky beer sir.
It did NOT taste right, I know a good beer and have tasted many of the brand that you bought. Was it filtered through used gym socks, after brewing boiled in a sweat shop, then stored in a sunny room for about 6 months before you bought it?

personally I like to buy local brews when somewhere but if we make it I doubt I'll be getting any yuckling.

What is the room rate again?

Well the price actually wasn't cheap, especially compared to the "Champagne of bottled beer" that we all seemed to enjoy more (My Granddad was right, if only he had lived). Of course I don't know, it could have been brewed in the bathroom of the Walmart down the street where I bought it.

I guess you should always go with what you know.

Forgot the rates but these guys should know:

Yeah, but $1K CDN is only about $8 USD! Guess I still owe you the $.75 from the car wash, EH?
