Which Plate or Neither
My registration is due shortly and I figured that I might as well own another personal plate for only 40 bucks. So which one of these do you think is the better one? I really can't think of anything else or they are taken.
JBAMACH (for the headers) GONEIN4 (self-explanatory) OCMACH1 (I live in orange county ) If you think they are both lame, just say so. |

Re: Which Plate or Neither
both?
I say GONEIN4. It sounds real cool. The jba one woul lead to your car belonging to jba or being sponsored by them. OC is nice, but I don't know if that's cool to put on your car.

Re: Which Plate or Neither
my first set of plates had the word "Mach" on 'em...I grew tired real quick of it after noticing that now the word "mach" appeared 5 times on the outside of the car...wasn't to my liking...plus people already know its a mach...
I still don't get the gonein4...but if it's your 0-60 time, then that's pretty cool! lets see, black mach, in california... how about TKT TIME

Re: Which Plate or Neither
Are both lame? No ALL THREE of your choices are!!!
These are available: Ten code for drag racing. Airplane that broke mach one. (Called XS-1 after breaking barrier.) Note: It looks like ZEROS are not available on personalized plates. You gotta use OHS in California. California Vehicle Code for exhibition of speed. Last edited by STG; 12-10-2005 at 05:22 AM. |

Re: Which Plate or Neither
Available:
In California, this will remind you to ask for a CHANGE OF VENUE to the COUNTY SEAT (Santa Ana) BEFORE you sign that ticket! (The officer MUST honnor your request prior to you signing your ticket. It delays things and often makes trhe officer driver further to court. Also, if the officer has ten tickets scheduled in another court and just yours at the county seat, where do you think he will show up?) Last edited by STG; 12-10-2005 at 02:45 AM. |

Re: Which Plate or Neither
Unfortunately, some guy's got this classic:
The DMV wanted to recall it, but he won it court and kept it. Turns out every time a cop wrote a ticket on a car without a plate, he'd get it! This one's available: I like to imagine an officer calling in this one. "10-28 and 10-29 on California Ocean Zero Ocean Hotel....I mean Ocean Zebra Edward... no, I said Zebra .. Ocean Hotel ...... |

My choices back then were: MACH1NE (instead of MACHINE), SHAKER, 04MACH1, GOTMACH, MACH 1, and finally SLEEPER. I got lucky in some respect and got my first choice: If I were to have choics now, I would have choices of 04UAMACH, 04 UA, UA MACH, or something like those combos. I really liked the RCode plates that I have seen. My point when I got my tag was to have a plate that was unique being the only one anywhere, and I achived that, and hopefully still do. I hope that helps you.

"If I were to have choics now, I would have choices of 04UAMACH, 04 UA, UA MACH, or something like those combos." Simply stating that If and simply stating that or something like those combos doesn't mean that I was not aware that the OK law provides for only 7 characters on a personalized tag. Why do you hate so much? Like having this in your profile: Location: Screw California, Hello Cody, WY! Why have that in your profile for everyone to see? Maybe it should read "Screw Cody WY!" instead. What makes WY better than CA?

Re: Which Plate or Neither
Wishful thinking won't get you an eight character plate. You wrote "if I were to have choices now....." You do have choices now. Anything that's not taken, not generally offensive and seven characters or less.
Perhaps you should have written, "If I could have anything I want on my license plate..." I don't hate everybody, Gee. I only used seven characters, too! |

Re: Which Plate or Neither
Look what I found on Zac's blurb:
"About me: I AM A KARO. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. KNOW IT. UNDERSTAND IT. I LOVE WAKING UP EARLY ON A WARM SUMMER MORNING, INDISPUTABLY HUNGOVER, DRAGGING MY FEET THROUGH THE FRESH DEW ON THE GRASS, JUST TO GET WICKED DOWN A TRAIL ON MY MOUNTAIN BIKE, ALL TO GET PUNISHED BY TREES & ROCKS. YEP THAT IS ME IN A TURTLESHELL. LOST AND CONFUSED IN A CYNICAL WORLD. NOT KNOWING MY PLACE OR PURPOSE. KNOWING THAT THERE ARE NO ANSWERS TO THESE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS, BUT ONLY IMPORTANT CHOICES TO MAKE. I HAVE AN I.Q. OF 131 AND I AM VERY ARTICULATE. I AM A BIG FAN OF GOING TO THE BAR FOR A FEW DRINKS AND/OR TO SHOOT SOME POOL, OR JUST TO CATCH A LIVE SHOW OF A DECENT NON-COVER BAND. I AM ALSO VERY SARCASTIC AT TIMES. I AM NOT A FAN OF IGNORANT PEOPLE, DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE, DISHONEST PEOPLE, OR PEOPLE THAT MAKE EXCUSES IN LIFE. I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE, SEGREGATE, DIFFERENTIATE, OR HESITATE TO GET WHAT I WANT. I ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH AND WHAT IS ON MY MIND, SO BE PREPPED TO HEAR THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY Who I'd like to meet: I WOULD LIKE TO MEET ANYONE THAT CUTS THRU THE B.S. AND JUST SAYS WHAT ON THEIR MIND AND/OR WHAT THEY WANT, ANY SHIKSAS, AND/OR ANYONE THAT IS WILLING TO BE A GOOD FRIEND" Now that doesn't really sound like you, does it? Especially the 131 I.Q. and articulate ?!? I believe the "I LOVE WAKING UP EARLY ON A WARM SUMMER MORNING, INDISPUTABLY HUNGOVER" part. |

What does that plate mean that you just posted? I get the "I Hate" part of it, but call me slow but I don't get the rest of it. What does the "MRNS" mean?

Re: Which Plate or Neither
STG,
Don't you have anything else better to do with your life than sit on the computer and make rude comments to eveyone on this board? You are always on here making posts. Don't you have any friends other than the computer? You must live a very lonely life. Let me go ahead and call myself dumb before you get a chance to respond and say so. I'm sure a mispelled something or made a error of some sort. Good luck with that. Osualum78 - You are probably the 50th person on this board that has caught the wrath of STG. Just let it roll off your shoulders because the registry won't do anything about it. He's just a loser with no friends.
