IUP Pic Request

Ok, my car does not have the IUP. And I've seen plenty of pics of the silver center insert, billet details, etc.

Can one of you with IUP pretty please post a good pic of the IUP headrests? I know they're 4-way, but is there a big difference in appearance? I haven't come across any good close up pics, so it's difficult to tell.

Thanks so much in advance!

Stacey

Re: IUP Pic Request

Here you go, the difference should be obvious compared to the non-IUP.

Re: IUP Pic Request

They tend to be pricey and obviously IUP owner's won't want to give them up. If I were looking, I'd probably check salvage yards or better yet a specialized mustang salvage yard for the best price.

Good luck!

Re: IUP Pic Request

The headrests are one of the first items to go from the parted out Mach1's that show up on the registry. I have bought a few Mach1 parts (take offs and such) recently, just to have. I may get another or do the clone thing.

I don't have extra headrests, TOO much $$$$$$ so far.

Re: IUP Pic Request

I have the IUP but can someone now post what the non-IUP headrest looks like? I have never seen them. How much different do they look?

Re: IUP Pic Request

I guess I am lucky the DSG does not have the IUP and my AB does.

Would someone care to explain what the big deal is with the IUP head rests. Maybe it is just me..but I never rest my had on them.

Re: IUP Pic Request

I actually rest my head on them if its been a rough day and I have a headache. No way you could do that with the old ones. I just like the way the IUP headrest look, much better than the small (crappy, IMO) regular ones.
