Any reason why this stick wouldn't work?

Love the old school chrome Hurst stick look, but I don't like the really tall sticks. I'm betting that it would bolt up to the factory shifter, but it would be a huge reach to 5th gear because of the lack of a tilt towards the driver. Anybody have experience with one?

I have a Steeda/Hurst combo with the 7201 stick . .

That looks awesome. Wonder if it would fit on the factory shifter base?
