Talking New mach owner in Arizona

Just got a 03 Black Mach a few weeks ago. Lots of stuff I will be doing to it over the next year. Seems like every time I get a new mustang it's an upgrade from the last. My mustang list is below.

1st: 1998 v6 - sold
2nd: 2000 GT - sold
Current: 2003 Mach 1

Congrats and welcome! It's tough to upgrade from these old cars, for me at least. All the newer cars have lost that muscle car feel.

Oh yeah,

Nice Mach1, but I'm really digging what looks to be a Fairmont Wagon in the background.

Oh yeah,
I'll post some pics when I can. It's black, with black leather, but I need new seats. The person that had it before me didn't do a good job in taking care of it. I'll be fixing his mistakes and cleaning her up. I'm redoing the interior this winter. I'm not a big fan of the newer cars also, I think they all kinda look the same. The 99-04 are my fav mustang body style.

- Bone stock besides A/C delete, which I'll be adding that back on, borla exhaust and cobra rims

- It's a manual, only way to drive a sports car. And my wife won't want to drive it and my kids can't.

- Plans are to redo the interior this winter, new carpet, new seats, new radio and maybe LED lights in the A/C controls and instrument cluster. My 2000 GT I did blue LED's and they looked great. I need a new rear bumper/trunk, someone backed into it or he backed into something. Might look into getting a cobra wing. I like the rims, but might sale or trade them from FR500's. They have some road rash on them, but a powder coat might make them look fine for awhile. And I need to re-tint the windows, plus a new paint job when I can get the money.

It worked. People just have to click on attachments to see them full size.
To embed them full size, they have to be hosted elsewhere such as Photobucket and linked.

Ok, I've seen larger pics and I'm using Mediafire. I guess I'll just add the link from there, thanks.

Thanks, she's getting the A/C system put in right now and new tint should be going on after that. I'll post more pics later of the interior and some more of the exterior.

A/C works great and was done about a week ago. I need to take it in to get the windows retinted and I need to get new front tires.

Re: New mach owner in Arizona

This thing is fun to drive, much better then my 2000 GT. She gets up and goes from 40-55, haven't taken her faster then that yet. I think my exhaust is loose because it rattles at higher rpms in 1-4 gears. Check engine light just came on, so I need to see what that's about.

Re: New mach owner in Arizona

Engine started knocking in Aug, took it to the shop and I need a new one. That's gonna cost about 5-8k depending if the shop removes the engine and sends if off to get rebuilt. I bought a cheap daily for now. So the mods/upgrades have been put on hold. I hope to have it back up and running before summers over. The starter went out this weekend and the newish battery is dead . My son and other daughter might have their drivers license towards the end of summer also
